Cycling Guide - Dutch Reach - NYBC, NHTSA, & GTSC
Cycling Guide video describing the "Dutch Reach", a safe way for drivers to avoid "dooring" a passing cyclist. The Dutch Reach makes it easy for drivers to make sure they look behind them as they open their door. Produced by the New York Bicycling Coalition and funded by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration with a grant from the New York State Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee.
